Dr. Nisarg Parmar (Panchal) is a Consultant Neurosurgeon and Endoscopic Spine Surgeon with specialized expertise in endoscopic and minimally invasive spine surgery, complex cranial microsurgery, neuro-oncology, neurovascular surgery, neuro-endoscopy, and skull-base surgery. He completed his MBBS from Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University Medical College, Sangli, followed by MS in General Surgery from M.I.M.S.R. Medical College and Hospital, Latur, and M.Ch. in Neurosurgery from the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bengaluru, where he secured an All India Rank of 5. His clinical expertise includes endoscopic lumbar discectomy, spinal decompression, minimally invasive TLIF, cervical and lumbar reconstruction, ACDF, spinal stabilization, treatment of spinal tumors and intradural lesions, and pediatric and congenital spine conditions. In cranial neurosurgery, he has experience in the management and surgical treatment of supratentorial and infratentorial brain tumors, gliomas, skull-base tumors, acoustic neuromas, ependymomas, medulloblastomas, and Chiari malformations, including advanced procedures such as awake craniotomy, 5-ALA fluorescence-guided surgery, intraoperative ultrasound, intraoperative MRI, and stereotactic neuronavigation. His neurovascular and functional neurosurgical expertise includes aneurysm clipping, STA-MCA bypass, carotid endarterectomy, EDAMS for Moyamoya disease, microvascular decompression, and stereotactic radiosurgery. He also performs neuro-endoscopic and ventricular procedures including endoscopic third ventriculostomy and ventriculoperitoneal shunt placement, along with emergency neurotrauma procedures such as decompressive craniectomy and evacuation of intracranial hematomas. Dr. Parmar has received specialized training in neuro-endovascular interventions and has experience with diagnostic cerebral DSA and assisting in endovascular procedures.
