Dr. Amol Mittal

Dr. Amol Mittal is a neurosurgeon with advanced training and clinical experience in brain and spine surgery, with particular interests in endoscopic skull base surgery, pituitary tumours, neuro-oncology, minimally invasive spine surgery, and functional neurosurgery. He completed his MBBS from Seth GS Medical College & KEM Hospital, Mumbai, MS in General Surgery from BJ Medical College & Sassoon General Hospital, Pune, and MCh in Neurosurgery from ABVIMS & Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi. He is also a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MRCS), UK. His neurosurgical training and academic experience include RML Hospital, New Delhi, Bombay Hospital, Mumbai, and All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhopal, where he served as Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery. He subsequently gained international clinical experience as a Senior Clinical Fellow in Neurosurgery (Functional & Spine) at Queen's Hospital, Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust, Romford, Greater London, UK. His specialist interests include endoscopic skull base and pituitary surgery, neuro-oncology and brain tumours, minimally invasive spine surgery, functional neurosurgery, and complex craniovertebral junction pathology. Dr. Mittal is actively involved in academic neurosurgery and research, with publications in peer-reviewed journals, including systematic reviews, technical notes, operative video articles, clinical studies, case reports and book chapters. He has presented research at national and international meetings in India, the UK and Canada, and has received academic travel scholarships including the NSI International Travel Grant and ISPN Attendance Scholarship.
