Dr. Snehal Vaidya

Dr. Snehal Vaidya is a qualified M.Ch. Neurosurgeon with an MBBS and MS in General Surgery, currently working as a Post-M.Ch. Senior Resident in the Neurosurgery Department at B.J. Medical College and Sassoon Hospital, Pune. He has experience in managing complex neurotrauma, spine, vascular neurosurgery, neuro-oncology, hydrocephalus and paediatric neurosurgical conditions. He surgical expertise includes decompressive craniectomy, evacuation of intracranial haemorrhage, spinal fixation and fusion, laminectomy, aneurysm surgery, brain and spinal tumour excision, shunt procedures and endoscopic neurosurgical procedures. She has also managed conditions such as traumatic brain injuries, brain aneurysms, meningiomas, gliomas, hydrocephalus, pituitary tumours, spinal tumours and Chiari malformation. He has previously worked in General Surgery as a Medical Officer, Assistant Professor and Consultant, adding broad surgical experience to her neurosurgical expertise. He has also contributed to academic research through publications, paper presentations and case presentations at medical and neurosurgical conferences.
